The turnout was awesome for a chance to take a Musical Theater class from former Rockette and current industry dancer Emily Loftiss. Sabra class was a HUGE success!

Here is a photo of all the girls after their second class with Sabra. They were sore and tired but I have no doubt that they soaked up every bit of her talent. It was an absolute pleasure to meet her and see her in action. She is extremely gifted and watching her was a privelege. I cant wait till she comes back again ;)

That is definitely the way it was last Saturday at the Applause Talent Competition! The CK dancers took the stage and the crowds went nuts time and time again! The hard work sure paid off in the end. The awards they received for their performances were some of their best yet. Way to go girls! Here are the awards rundown.

The Votes Are In!!!

Did you hear the news? CK Danceworks Inc. was just voted "The Best Dance Studio" for Kennesaw and Acworth for 2009 by Around Acworth Magazine. Co-owners Christina Wiginton and Kensey Bowling are so excited. We are very proud to call CK Danceworks home for all our dance needs and could not be more proud of this achievement! Way to go girls!!!

Master Class HUGE Success

So after a few hours of sweating it out to the teachings of Kameron Bink from "So You Think You Can Dance", the girls from CK Danceworks were able to snag some face time for some chit chat, photos and autographs. Everyone was representing their exclusive Sugar and Bruno shirts which he was so thrilled to sign for all the girls and thought it was such a nice touch. WAy to go Christina for setting up the Master Class and for everyone who follows this blog. Stay tuned for some HUGE "So You Think You Can Dance" celebrity news that is in the works as we speak!!!

"Own the Beat"

As you know Kameron Bink is coming to CK Danceworks.... so are his signature line of "Own the Beat" Tee Shirts. Make sure to get there early to snag yours as we have only released a total of 35 shirts for this event. These are tee shirts that were designed by Kameron exclusively for Sugar and Bruno and will proudly be sold by Concept3. If you plan on grabbing his autograph or having a picture taken with him this shirt would be perfect. I will not be taking pre-orders for this item it will all be on a first come first serve basis. The tee shirts are $25.00. I am attaching a photo for your viewing pleasure! This is very exciting for the girls and promises to be an awesome event!!!
